Soft Reeds started as solo project of Ben Grimes(formerly of Golden Republic) that has been transformed into a full band since 2009. They are releasing their debut “Soft Reeds Are Bastards” on July 13th and we can’t be more excited. Soft Reeds play an addictive brand of indie rock that finds itself to be intoxicating. “Soft Reeds are Bastards” masterfully walks a line between bitter and sneering without deviating to tiresome whinetunes.
